The Genomics of Disease in Wildlife 2023 workshop will be held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Fort Collins is centrally located in the continental United States, in the northern part of the region of Colorado known as the Front Range. Fort Collins is an approximate hour’s drive (65 miles) north of Denver and can be easily visited via Denver International Airport (DIA). At the airport, you can find a dozen options for car rentals, and shuttles rides from Groome Transportation.

Nestled up to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and facing the plains, Colorado State University, as a mid-sized university of 34,000 students, prides itself on its land-grant university heritage and as a D1 research institute, that reached a record $456.9 million research enterprise in fiscal year 2022. All course activities will be centered in the Iris & Michael Smith Alumni Center.
